The Scanning Page

Once you select the device or partition to scan, VirtualLab will perform a low-level, sector by sector scan of the media which result in all of the lost data that was found to display in an easy to read file listing.

During the scan you'll see how many files are found, as well as other filesystem specific information.

You can cancel the scan at anytime, where you can see the results of how many files have been found thus far.
