Customers Testimonials
As the most popular data recovery utility in the world*, VirtualLab recovers more data every day than any other recovery product. People write us all the time about their experiences and gratitude with VirtualLab. Here is a small sample of the letters, feedback and email we receive on a regular basis... |
This is quite a unique utility. Quite a joy to try out even if you may never use it.

Data Recovery from BinaryBiz.com – I used their "Virtual Lab" data recovery service and it worked when Norton Utilities, Disk Warrior and Data Rescue didn't. I recommend them highly.

"Thank you for the good work! "
Through an error with my backup program, I accidentally wrote over one Word file--a transcription of an interview. I really, really didn't want to conduct this interview again. I was frustrated and rushed when I went searching online for help recovering my file. It was so easy to download VirtualLab and use it that I took the risk and spent the $127 it would cost to retrieve my quota of data. There was my file, completely intact and read to go! I'm really impressed. It was money well spent. I've dealt quite a bit with downloading software online and have often found the process cumbersome and frustrating. Your process was a breeze. Thank you for the good work! Everyone who heard about my bad day yesterday heard about how good your product was.

"Amazing!"
Hello,
I want to tell you a sunshine story:
I have two computers, and friday both of them crashed. Backup of one of them was on the other one, and vice versa, so it was a complete disaster for me and my company!
Windows couldn't find any logical drives on any one of them, and the local PC expert firm gave up after a few minutes. I just had to get data out of at least one of the two hard disks, and my only alternative seemed to be the national disk recovery company, charging USD3000,- for such jobs.
In pure desperation, I started to search the internet for software that might be able to make contact with my hard disk, and hopefully even retreive some valuable data. After trying a few programs without any success at all, I found VirtualLAB. After a couple of hours working on my hard disk, it revealed 98% of the files, that showed up naicely organizen in its original tree structure. I immediately paid the modest fee for retrieving the files, and it worked perfectly! A great success, that made my day! Amazing!! Tomorrow I will have the pleasure of telling the national disk recovery company, that their USD3000,- service is not of any interest to me anymore, because the USD100,- VirtualLAB software solved the problem immediately, during the weekend. Terrific!
I will gladly tell anyone about VirtualLAB, and recommend it to anyone who have serious harddisk problems. Thank you very much!
Best regards,

"Oy! Massive Hard Drive Crash..."
I lost my Panther boot parition on my tower system. It's only been running about 3 months and yesterday when I started up the system, I experienced some kind of Kernal Panic. Forutnately I have redunandant Systems on several drives, so the system managed to boot up in Jaguar. Disk First Aid was useless... the cataloging data was crunched.
Fortunately, most of my irreplacable data had been backed up or on separate drives and were unaffected by the crash. All of the website data is on my Panther drive so it was unaffected. I did have about 600 megs of stuff on my desktop which seemed lost, including some new logo illustrator files, a UC-33e freehand file that took me a few days to create, and the data of a new refill. There were about 3 Reason song projects too. The data on the drive is toast and will probably require a reformat/reinstall. Fortunately most of the crucial data been recovered thanks to Virtual Lab from BinaryBiz.com! What a lifesaver! Since I have 3 hard drives on my system, I installed Virtual Lab on the Jaguar partition, and managed to locate the crucial data on my dead Panther Drive and save it over to the SCSI drive. Unfortunately Virtual Lab didn't quite fix the drive, but at least i saved the 2 gigs of important stuff (which i should have backed up anyway).

"THANKS!"
Thanks for a terrific service that restored my lost photos from a camera card. The software is simple enough that a computer illiterate like me could do it with little hassle.

"Worked wonders for me. A++"
I just wanted to pass along that I'm very pleased to have found the Virtual Lab service. I had a firewire drive go bad on me yesterday morning. I'm on a Mac, so of course I tried DiskUtility. No luck. I bought the latest version of Norton Utilities. Nada. A friend let me try his version of DiskWarrior. No Dice. Another friend suggested "Data Rescue." No go. So I Googled for "data recovery." I called one company that wanted a minimum of $700 ($100 of that just to evaluate the drive). Then I came across the BinaryBiz.com site. I could download the application and see if it would work BEFORE I shelled out any cash. Cool. I did . . . and it did. So, from the relative comfort of my office I began the very simple process. I recovered a wide assortment of file types (Photoshop, MP3, PNG, QuickTime), and the most impressive to me was that it recovered over 35GB of media files for Avid Xpress DV. I recovered 38 GB of data in total for a fee that was about 1/3 that of the other quote. And I did it all from home. I recommend them.

"Innovative and Clever"
I accidentally erased some irreplaceable data and was frantic when I started to look online for recovery alternatives. VirtualLab was one of the first to show up in my search, and the whole system sounded very appealing. Don't pay until you know that the data is recoverable, and only pay for what you need to recover. I fretted and paced while the software searched my system, but the euphoria of seeing that my files were recoverable is beyond description. The price was very fair, and I am a VERY happy customer. Thanks to VirtualLab for developing such an effective, innovate and easy-to-use tool for those of us who belong in the
"human error" slice of the pie chart.

"It actually worked!!
This was the third software file recovery I download off of CNET. It was the first to work. I can't remember the first one I tried but the second one was StopLoss which was worthless. It found my files and listed them. The only bad part was it charged $100 for the first gig of files recovered and then $10 for each following gig of data. Since I already spent $150 on two other worthless software applications, this was well worth it."

"Excellent Tool
This program recovered a ton of lost files quickly from a formatted drive. I lost a couple due to corruption, but considering it changed from FAT32 to NTFS and the OS was reinstalled, I'm amazed I got anything back."

"Great App!
I've tried nearly every recovery app I could find before this one. And, although a little more expensive than some of the others, I found it to be many miles ahead in terms of what it was able to do for me. I had a 12 Drive Level 5 RAID that went down. No utility would even touch it.. this program not only recovered it, but every file, folder and piece of data was restored perfectly. One company quoted me more than $20k to recover the data, and this program did it for 1/50th the price. Where do I buy stock?"

"Recovered everything important for a very reasonable price...
I recently managed to corrupt both my main drive and a backup drive which contained all my photos, spreadsheets, tax returns, email, address books and more. Finding your site and seeing that my data was recoverable, was a relief in itself. I tried demos of about 6 programs (out of many) that claim to do the same for less, but none of them seemed worth the risk. I came back to VirtualLab and recovered everything important for a very reasonable price. The process was straight forward and I didn't have to leave the drive with anyone. I wonder how many people can say "I hope I won't be doing business with you again, but I'll be sending your link to all my friends".

26,000 Digital Images Recovered
Just thought I'd drop a note saying "Thank You" for a job well done. I had my one and only backup go on the blink and lost all of my digital files. A lot of them. Over 26,000 images. Yes, that's right, 26,000. That's over 103GB of images, gone! This represented YEARS of shooting. I had just bought several DVD's to record as a permanent backup to the hard drive and Murphy's Law struck! I freaked out, calling EVERYONE I could think of, to see what their suggestions might be. I was given your name by the manufacturer, Maxtor as a suggested try. Good suggestion! Everything worked perfectly. It took a while, over 12 hours of work, but when it was all done, every single file was retrieved onto my new, second backup hard drive. I'm in the process of burning those DVD's right now, about 30 of them.
Once again, thanks, your product worked flawlessly and I'm glad I didn't have to ship off my hard drive adding another layer of risk to an already bad situation. You've got a great product on your hands.

"Invaluable tool..."
VirtualLab's capabilities are truly remarkable. I had a drive whose partition table got scrambled, rendering 55GB of data inaccessible. VirtualLab recovered everything. This recovery would have cost me over $3000 using traditional drive recovery services (mail the drive in and hope you don't get bent over a barrel). I spent $400 to get back my 55GB of data, which would have taken weeks to rebuild by hand. ... I am one HAPPY CUSTOMER! Thanks, VirtualLab!

"Life-saving product"
I had an 80 gig RAID 1 disk. Others said it could only be recovered by sending it to them and at a cost of thousands of dollars. vLab recovered my files without removing it from my computer for $150. I had some problem saving the files back to my disk but Tech Support solved it and I got everything I need. Highly recommended.

"Saved my life"
My hard drive got messed up and Windows couldn't recognize the partition. I had two "experts" tell me that all I could do was run the restore disc unless I wanted to spend $1,000+ for data recovery. All I wanted was the personal stuff like photos from the past year that can't be replaced. Even though they're very important to me they're not worth a thousand dollars! Oh yeah. Almost my entire mp3 collection was potentially gone too!! VirtualLab was able to scan my bad drive (installed a new hard drive first for it to run on) and detect all its contents. It took about an hour to scan my 80 gig hard drive, then it took me a couple of hours to go through everything and select what I wanted to recover and only about 20 minutes or so to copy over just under 6 gigs. It cost me $125 to recover 6 gigs worth of data... To me it was well worth the price I paid so I'm very pleased.

"...no other program could see even it"
I used VirtualLab about 3 weeks ago, and was very happy with the results. It was able to retrieve most of the pictures from my 8MB SmartMedia card, when no other program could even see it. Thanks!

"Cost Effective Solution"
Some people have thought this is expensive, however, when you compare the cost of rebuilding something you've lost, it's really priceless. Regardless, I found this product to work great and I'd highly recommend using it when you've lost your life, like I did. Thanks.

Holy cow, this product performed complete recovery from a drive I thought all data was lost. I tried the other top two, and they did not even come close to finding as much data as VirtualLab. Listen folks, this is THE BEST! Yeeha! (yeah, I'm happy!)

I lost about 300 digital camera files from my Kodak DC210 that I recently copied to my hard drive but accidentally deleted the folder and had already whipped my camera.. I got back all but one file.. It looks like the one was overwritten.. pretty dang good though! Was fairly inexpensive as well.
"Works great!"
Just finished saving my data from 60Gb Maxtor (worth of last 4 years of my work). About 5 thousands of heavy graphics files, looking now thru them - all are 100% recovered! Fantastic program, and very polite and effective support. Definitely thumbs up!

"FANTASTIC"
Saved my @ss! Fantastic tool, I had to reformat my drive twice because of a problem, I was able to recover about 2 gig of stuff (after formatting twice and reinstalling system, apps, etc.- I did do a quick format just to be safe, in case I could save anything, that's crucial). Tool was easy to use, I could see if the files were going to be useful. It was a good chunk of money, but it was well worth it!

"Excellent Program, The Best"
I just tried it, thank you for the recommendation! I was able to even save 1mb of data for free! No other data recovery program was willing to allow me to save without paying. This is a great way to earn business, and they got mine for sure!

"Sure helped me out"
My laptop harddrive crashed, not hardware but some sort of Windows corruption. While VirtualLab Data Recovery wasn't able to restore all my data, it managed to get most of it. I am very happy with the result.

"What a great solution to a bad situation!"
I have told so many people about the magic of VirtualLab They don't believe me. It was so easy to set up and simple to run. I had image files that could not be duplicated on a drive that failed before I could do a backup. In an hour they were retrieved and on another drive. I was up and running while I was watching TV. I cannot say enough about this wonderful solution. I speak around the country and I know I have told over 50 people about how it works. It's magic!

"Got my data back FAST"
This program got our data back off of a hard drive that had been re-imaged (blasted) with DriveImage, it used to have 2 FAT partitions and was re-imaged with just 1 NTFS partition -- this software didn't care, it showed all 3, and got *ALL* the old data back. Absolutely amazing. Well worth the money we paid for the 500meg session.

"A True Innovation in Data Recovery"
VirtualLab is beyond brilliant. This program found files that I was sure I'd never see again. I was able to preview the availability of my lost data without spending a dime. VirtualLab also allows you to recover a small sample of your data in order to make sure that the program will work properly for you. The best thing about this program is that you don't have to send your drive anywhere. All of your "lost" files are recovered right there before your eyes. The customer service was great and I highly recommend using this program for all of your data recovery needs.

"Excellent, but expensive for me."
The absolute ONLY program I recommend for that accidental delete, or that funky zip disk problem. The 1Mb free trial is perfect for that project file that you mistakenly hit shift when you deleted. There is no other program on the web that does what this does as effectively. esp. 'post-disaster'. Most program require you to have the program installed before you make the mistake. hmph. Yes the 70$ price tag for 500Mb is pretty steep if you've only lost 10mb or so, but for those rare priceless files that you put dozens and dozens of hours into- this is the program to use. In my case, this program saved me about 10 hours of wasted time. Sigh! (of relief)
Oh Thank You! 03-Apr-2003 09:00:09 PM
"Got an impossible situation? You found the solution."
After trying other programs and services; after “consulting” with the manufacturer; after fear that I had lost all my data for good – this product pulled me from the fire! It was easy, efficient and effective. As with anything that works at the top of the line, it has it’s price – but my data is worth it. I bly recommend this product.

"Excellent! Does what others can't."
VirtualLab recovered files on both a hard drive and a floppy that other programs couldn't find or even begin to deal with. Files were recovered in their original format. You can inspect what files are recoverable before you pay anything. I encourage you to download and do a demo recovery (< 1 meg)- once you do I know you'll be using VirtualLab to recover whatever you need. The hard drive I recently recovered had no directory information left on it, but I was able to recover all original files in their original form. Try VirtualLab; you won't be disappointed.

"Saved my life"
I worked three weeks on a video edit for a major manufacturer. All went well. Clients approved and loved the job. 15 minutes of finished video from 16 hours of footage. Kicked a plug... lost the hard drive with all media and all edit information (EDL). Checked price for data recovery - $3,000 to $8,000. VirtualLab Data did the whole job, over the internet, in about 3 hours - total cost $314. I love this company, and everything about it.

"Was a bargain for what it did"
I recovered items not found by the other programs (and the 'free' ones, too). I'd have paid 5x more than what this cost! The price was clear and straightforward, all I did was click the 'buy now' button from within the client and I immediately found out what it would cost. Kudos to this company, I even saved 1mb for free! ALl the other software put together could not match the value and amount of data this product found all by itself. There may be cheaper (and free) software out there, but you know the saying 'you get what you pay for'. The free and low priced software yielded minimum to no results, VirtualLab took my breath away after a brief scan and finding all my files, and earned my business. It was more expensive than the others, but worked significantly better.

"Easier than I thought"
After looking into doing a data recovery myself, without sending a drive in, I was worried how hard it would be. Then I found VirtualLab, on cnet; I wasn't sure if it could recover my files, but I was able to save a megabyte of files to test it. Worked great and I ended up purchasing 2Gigs. Faster than I thought and wasn't to hard either.
