Installation Instructions

The damaged hard drive needs to be installed as SECONDARY MASTER. In other words, it needs to be the only item on your secondary IDE bus. If you do not know what this is, then you do not have the knowledge you will need to properly setup the repair session.

1. Connect the bad drive as a SECONDARY MASTER on your secondary IDE bus port.

2. Please make sure that the hard drive is in MASTER mode (look at the jumper settings, it's written on the body of the drive).

3. Turn on the PC, let Windows load.

4. Go online (connect to the internet) as usual.

5. Run iDriveRepair™ Client, fill in the form (see menu Settings -> Who Am I) and click on 'Connect' which will connect to our engineer.

Please make sure that TCP port 4635 is free and not blocked by any software or your firewall.
